TASTE Bartender Tiffany Friday took the message of Melinda’s artist statement and images as the starting point to create a cocktail titled, “Mariner’s Revenge,” that reflects this maritime inspiration:
1 ounce tart cherry-infused Bacardi Rum
.5 ounce Luxardo Marischino liquor
3 ounces fresh orange juice
.5 ounce Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
Fill 10-ounce tumbler with ice. Add ingredients in order. Float Sailor Jerry’s Spiced Rum across the back of a spoon. Garnish with a fresh pitted cherry.
