Melinda’s work is featured in Studio Visit Magazine, Volume Seven, pp. 88-89, 2009

If you haven’t been to visit Melinda’s studio, or you’d like to see it again, you can get a 360-degree view at vrseattle.com.

Click here to see a video of Melinda talking about her experience at The Rocky Neck Art Colony in Gloucester, Massachusetts, America’s oldest port city.

TASTE Bartender Tiffany Friday took the message of Melinda’s artist statement and images as the starting point to create a cocktail titled, “Mariner’s Revenge,” that reflects this maritime inspiration:

Fill 10-ounce tumbler with ice. Add ingredients in order. Float Sailor Jerry’s Spiced Rum across the back of a spoon. Garnish with a fresh pitted cherry.

The film Sweet Crude, in which Melinda’s paintings appear, will soon become available on DVD. Upcoming festival screenings include: Environmental Film Festival in the Nation's Capital, Washington, DC, March 19; Tiburon International Film Festival, Tiburon, CA, March 21; Ashland Independent Film Festival, Ashland, OR, April 9, 10 & 11; and Through Women's Eyes, Sarasota, FL, April 11.
